ABOUT ME
Hello, there!
I am Marisa Turner, an actor currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Concentration in Performance from James Madison University (May 2022)!
I am passionate about beautiful and truthful story telling, and I am a firm believer that theatre can and will change the world around us, if we only allow it to.
I believe the stage should be a safe space for artists to explore the humanity that connects us all, and I am committed to dismantling inequity in theatre.
As a performer and an artist, it is my mission to bring love, respect, empathy, and kindness to the world around me.
If I'm not working on something, you can bet that I am drinking coffee and hanging with my dog!
In my free time I love to cozy up with a good book, laugh til my stomach hurts watching New Girl, or find my inner peace through yoga practice!
